Goalkeeper training
Read the incoming ball, get between it and the goal, and make your recovery part of the save.
Meet the ball on the ground.
Drive through a simple shot before adding a jump. Watch where your car finishes after contact, not just where the ball goes.
Use boost with a destination.
Short bursts help close a gap. Save enough to recover when a challenge sends the ball behind you, and learn the boost pad routes.
Give the next defender a chance.
In 2v2, let a teammate challenge when you are recovering. A car covering the goal is often more useful than two cars chasing the same touch.
